Based in the UK, Julian paints the landscape, coastline and urban areas in a style recently described as 'contemporary realism'. He has work in a number of private and public collections around the world including The House of Lords. Since 2008 Julian has been creating a 'daily' painting' and has recently exhibited a collection of 200 of these at Glyndebourne Opera House near Lewes in East Sussex. 

NEWS UPDATE: Following a successful season last Summer Julian returns to Glyndebourne later this year (2012) as artist in residence creating a new series of backstage paintings. All images will available to view and buy - see the Glyndebourne link where you can also see a short film and all paintings created during the 2011 season.
