In 2004 Julian responded to a call for works in the style of 1930s travel posters. He was successful in having 2 originals purchased for the House of Lords permanent collection.

He then created a series of 12 in similar style. Some of the originals still available:

Hastings Old Town, Alfriston, Shoreham by Sea and Dallington
